Yes, that's right. I got the call a little while ago offering me a job at American Eagle Outfitters, and of course I took it. I was kinda too excited to remember to try and negotiate a higher salary, but oh well. I'm sure I can get a raise! Discounted AE here I come. 40%-50% WOOHOO! They do give firends and family discounts once in a while, and it's usually before the store opens and they feed you and stuff, so that's cool.

I have to go in this Sunday at 8am with 2 forms of ID. I wonder if they will start training me right away. Hooray for new experiences, and possibly some crazy and/or famous customers.

Ok, so after months of job hunting I finally find one I might be interested in and I'm positive they will hire me. Let's just see what pay they are offering is. I'm very confident about this!

Wondering what the job is? Well, I'll be working for American Eagle Outfitters doing sales/cashier/maybe stock.. We'll be cross-trained. I'd be starting out at the one in Soho on Broadway, but will be transferred to the brand new store opening in Union Square. That should be hot. The store is gonna be HUGE. I'm so excited about this.. they better pay me more than my final salary at my last job or I'll be pissed lol.

This job will definitely keep me on my toes which I think is good. I get to experience a new area of the work world, working with people face to face. Alrighty, wish me luck. I should get a call by next Friday with an offer.

OK, OK Shirley... I'm updating you all. My year has started out crappy too. Got laid off Dec. 30th, my grades were disgusting this semester. I actually failed a class. I'm in some kinda warped place right now.

The only good thing I can say is that I've been dating this guy for a little over 3 months now, and he's a sweetheart. My friends and fam actually like this guy, so that's a good sign.

For anyone who doesn't know, I dumped my ex-fiance's dumb ass last August. Best thing I ever did. Don't know what I was thinking with that one. I guess I was hoping I could make something out of it that wasn't even close to being. Thank God for good friends (Rosie) who have the courage enough to show you what you're blinded to (meaning my fiance was a real asshole).

Since I got laid off I've been feeling like the biggest bum in the world. I'm supposed to be enjoying my time off from school right now, but I'm so not! It's horrible. I feel like staying in bed all day, but I get up pretty early for someone who has nothing to do. 9:30 is early right? The only time I am in a good mood is when I get to see Lee (new guy).

This weekend past was the first whole weekend I spent with him btw. It was awesome. I pretty much always go to his place, which is in Park Slope. I know I need to get his butt to Queens more often, but I really enjoy getting out of my house. It's refreshing and liberating sleeping somewhere that's not my house.

Hey, I can't believe my birthday is next week! I'm gonna be 24!!!! EEEEWWWWW!!!!!  Somebody help me. I'm getting old. Anybody run across the fountain of youth yet? Ok, I don't look old, but I feel it. July 2nd people... Just so ya know   Well anywayz, we're BBQ-ing for our b-day on July 4th, since that day everyone will be free most likely. I had a really nice weekend upstate at Ft. Drum with my Baby. It's so gorgeous up there. Wish I was rich and could buy one of those mansions hidden behind the trees. *sigh*
